Dome and Campanile

A striking view taken on the Cathedral roof. The domes were coated in copper after repairs in the 1950s, following minor bomb damage in the war.

I too am busy putting signs up at the charity that I run. Someone, somewhere is making a lot of money producing the signs!

On a serious note I remember hearing on the radio, a spokesperson from Westminster Abbey querying this issue re signs in churches. I suppose that the counter argument from someone would be if there were no signs then they could smoke.

With the sky (rarely) so blue, the Pantheon springs to mind again- could you not save yourself the expense of repairing the domes and instead pierce them? You would then also get the magical dispersed water droplets when it rains!
