Tour de France a Londres

This was the scene yesterday afternoon outside the Cathedral in Victoria Street ..

And this was the scene a little further up the street, as London played host to the 'prologue' of the Tour de France.

As ever, it is a thrill when the streets of the City become the venue for an event or festival, and the crowds seem to have justified the hype.

Some enterprising spirits ensured they had a good view! mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

It made for a pleasant day in the Cathedral, with visitors and tourists wandering in to enjoy the tranquil atmosphere away from the crowds.
