The Great Rood
The Great Rood seems to be crowned with light, as it hangs above the sanctuary. Perhaps it is somewhat reminiscent of Dali's 'Christ of St John of the Cross'.

Bought your new guide book very good, disappointed I couldn't find a card of the Rood, I'm sure you used to have one.

There are now fine reproductions of the rood on sale, in various sizes, which I can heartliy recommend!
