September Oremus

The September edition of Oremus, the Cathedral magazine, is available from the Cathedral, priced £2. It contains news, articles and meditations relating to Cathedral life and, in particular this month, the Feast of Our Lady of Sorrows (illustrated by the reverse of the Great Rood, above). There is also a fascinating item about Count Benkendorff, Ambassador of Czarist Russia, who is the only lay person buried in the Cathedral - more on him later!

Good to have you back, Monsignor. Do we get holiday photos?

Is there any news on the availability of a gift-shop miniature of the Rood yet? Thanks.

Photos to come (those of a relevant nature, at least!).

The Gift Shop now sells a miniature of the Great Rood, retailing at £20. I'll put up an image of it.
