The End of Christmas
The Feast of the Presentation marks the end of the Christmas season - our crib will remain up for the weekend, but will be taken down on Monday.

Sad to see that the sanctuary balustrade candles were not in place and lit for candlemas. I am sure that there is a sound liturgical reason for this, but if there is one day in the Christian calendar that warrants their prescence it is surely Feb 2?
Good point - however, the balustrade candles are only deployed at present for Solemnities. But we couod review that.
