The Golden Age dawns

At last, news of the film 'The Golden Age', which I mentioned earlier here. It is to be released in Canada in September, and we can hope to see it soon afterwards.

The film continues the story of Queen Elizabeth I, covering the Spanish Armada; Westminster Cathedral stands in for the Escorial, and above you see King Philip II (played by Jordi Molla) standing in front of the Lady Chapel!

The trailer is now available (see here); from it one gleans a thrilling, if distorted, version of historical events, and it does appear to perpetuate the myth of 'killer priests'. However, it does look spectacular and evocative, and is a 'must see' for the autumn!

You seem quite sanguine about the myth of killer priests being perpetuated and perhaps a new generation discovering the 'killer priests'. Could you, in your position, not do something to inform the public at large of this untruth?
